Maison Henri Lepan was built in 1989.

Originally called S.I.L. Expansion, this project was renamed to Maison Henri Lepan in 2003, in honor of Mr. Henri Lepan. 

It is specially for mentally challenged individuals following a request by the "Hearst and District Association for the Mentally Handicapped" whose mandate is to provide services to mentally challenged individuals in the Hearst area.

It comprises of 4 one-bedroom apartments, one of which is totally accessible, and 1 two-bedroom apartment.
